Department of Natural Resources Launches New Website: Explore Outdoor Hawai‘i
The State of Hawaii Department of Natural Resources (DLNR) launched a new website that helps Hawai‘i residents and visitors easily find permit and regulation information for recreational and commercial activities across the state.
Developed in accordance with Hawai‘i State Act 182, the new site features direct pathways to the many DLNR managed resources and permits for both individual and commercial activities. “Explore Outdoor Hawai‘i is a one-stop user-friendly website designed to help residents, visitors, and commercial operators find and apply for permits, licenses and reservations,” said DLNR Chair Dawn Chang.”
DLNR worked with Nimbus Unlimited on content selection, architecture, design, and development of the consolidated website which features activity-focused navigation and imagery that complements and integrates where possible the existing DLNR systems.
