The Straub Benioff Medical Center (SBMC) marked its 100th year by kicking off a major redevelopment project to nearly triple its campus size to 760,000 square feet. This multi-year effort will proceed in four phases:

• Constructing a new parking garage
• Building a new medical center,
•  Enhancing outdoor areas with landscaping and a Porte cochere
• Renovating existing buildings.

To keep stakeholders, patients, and staff informed, Hawaii Pacific Health and Nimbus Unlimited launched the Future Forward Straub website offering:

• Real-time updates, livestreams of construction
• Monthly-updated photo galleries
• Patient stories highlighting the impact of the new facilities

With a renewed sense of appreciation for Straub Benioff’s legacy, this new project is sure to be a healthcare campus of the future.
