Hawaii Habitat for Humanity Association gets a new look!
Hawaii Habitat for Humanity Association (Hawaii Habitat) is the Hawaii state entity for Habitat for Humanity International and supports local affiliates across five islands. Nimbus Unlimited recently had the pleasure of partnering with Hawaii Habitat’s mighty team of two to redesign its outdated website.
The Old Site
The original website was designed in 2001 and while the information was up-to-date, the technology used during its build could not support visitors on mobile devices, did not provide much of a foundation for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and did not have analytics to help the team understand how the site was working for them.
It also did not provide a place for the heroes at Hawaii Habitat to easily post about their events or latest news and did not support their need to accept donations online.
From a consumer perspective, the old site did not do much to highlight the great work Hawaii Habitat does for the state of Hawaii.
The New Site
We were excited to launch the new site with the blessing of Hawaii Habitat’s Board of Directors in January 2020. HawaiiHabitat.org now is a mobile responsive site complete with events and news functionality, integration with a third-party online donation partner, analytics, and SEO-friendly content.
